The GE III flail mower is undoubtedly the most versatile of all our models. Farm machinery cooperatives, entrepreneurs and institutions can choose from the many configurations presented by its modular linkage possibilities – at the front, rear, or double, and 2 rotor types – to deal with the most demanding tasks in all weathers. Significant working widths and throughputs can be achieved when the GE III is combined with a flail mower or arm mower at the rear.
The standard essentials
- Fixed HDX steel skids adapted to the body’s profile for better protection
- 500-mm manual offset achieved by sliding along 2 detachable bichromate tubes
- Self-cleaning roller
- Interior bearings with baffle protection to prevent wire and twine clogging
- Profiled, compact body and housing to protect the structure and drive
- Modular hitch at the front or rear, that can be detached quickly
- 540 or 1000 rpm gearbox with free wheel
- Transmission by high-performance V-belts
- CAT 2 hitch with 500-mm offset on two Ø 70 mm beams
- Rugged hitch made of 12-mm thick HLE steel
- Hitch clevis with lights for optimum ground following
- Three possibilies: rear linkage, front linkage and double linkage
- Optional hydraulic offset
- 540 or 1000 rpm by pulley inversion
- Use of Very High Performance (VHP) belts
- Double helicoidal system rotor with high linear speed for strong updraft and excellent cutting quality
- Wide diameter tube rotor: Ø 220 mm
- Oversized bearings
- Baffle protection to prevent wire and twine clogging
Self-cleaning Ø 195 mm roller for better ground following
- Rugged HTS steel bod: 8-mm side walls, 5-mm thick body base, 12-mm transverse braces, front and rear structure boxes
- Body profile designed for excellent updraft and extremely fine shredding (1st counter-blade standard, 2nd counter blade optional)
- HDX skids standard
- Optional HDX sheet metal lining

- Rugged HTS steel body comprising 100x100x8 tubes consolidated by 12mm- and 20-mm thick linings
- Frame-housing linkage by Ø 40-mm high strength shafts
- Hitch clevis category 3 and 2 with light for ground following
- Automatic locking and unlocking of transport position. Single, double effect distributor used
- 260 HP gearbox with free wheel
- Signalling kit with optional LED lighting
- Optional border shredder
