The GF flail mower with retention spikes is designed for widely-spaced vineyards and orchards regardless of the shredding volume.
The standard essentials
- Gearbox with free wheel adapted for specialist tractors
- Very high clearance
- Retention spikes
- Ejection of shredded matter in front of the roller after the spikes have passed through
- Internal bearings to get in as close to the trunks as possible
- Body protection provided by a second 5-mm sheet metal lining
- Large follower roll mounted on self-aligning bearings
- Rear hinge-mounted scraper roller to keep the roller clean
- Rotor bearings equipped with baffle protection to prevent wire and twine clogging
- Height-adjustable roller and side skids
- Rear CAT 2 hitch can be offset with a 3rd sliding point
- Optional hydraulic offset
- 540 rpm
- Uses Very High Performance (VGP) belts
- Large dimension rotor
- Ø 22- mm tube rotor
- Internal bearings, oversized ball bearings
- Baffle protection to prevent wire and twine clogging
Large roller with rugged scraper mounted on Ø 200-mm hinge for better ground following on self-aligning bearings
